AMS16-2AEM - 16 Channel Audio Monitor with Dolby E/AC3 Decoder

The AMS16-2AEM is a compact 2 R.U. aural and visual monitor designed to handle multi-channel format audio signal and Dolby E/AC3 Decoding. Sixteen PPM/VU LED bargraphs display signal activity while a sophisticated 4 speaker system allows operators to listen, with great clarity, to the signal being monitored.

The AMS16-2AEM accepts two HD/SD SDI signals with embedded audio at its input. A 2 x1 selector allows switching between the two sources and provides two re-timed, re-clocked, copies of the selected input on the rear panel. The selected source is processed to extract the embedded audio streams (up to sixteen channels) which are then displayed on the bright LED VU/PPM bar-graph meters.

Front panel controls allows the user to listen to the signals in stereo pairs, as a mix or the signals may be soloed and listened to individually.
