Ward-Beck Systems Ltd. supply of professional  broadcast equipment to the most successful radio and television  facilities around the world. Ward-beck produces a line of on air radio consoles as well as terminal gear to distribute, monitor and meter analog and  digital audio and video signals, converters to transition between analog and digital audio and video signal formats.

The R2K | cool grey combines the renowned Ward-Beck quality of design, engineering and styling in a compact, affordable package.

Installation is a breeze with Phoenix™ pluggable connectors throughout.The unique power supply package, based on the successful 8200 series Rack Mount frame, offers dual redundancy and the ability to use Ward-Beck D to A converters, A to D converters, and distribution amplifiers in only two rack units of space.

Meter Bridge

The R2K meter bridge is one of the prevailing features when choosing a R2K radio console. It sits very low when mounted in a desk (only 4.9 inches above the desk) so that studio view is not obstructed. It houses easy to read LED clock and timers, and comes with standard program VU meters. There are other monitoring options for the R2K meter bridge, including PPM meters LED bar Graph VU meters, and “sticky” Stereo Loudness Meters.

Connecting to R2K | cool grey

With R2K | cool grey’s removable bottom covers, getting at the underside of the console is extremely simple, and because all connections are made via Phoenix™ Pluggable Screw Terminals, wiring your new R2K is a breeze.
