OmniTek XR
The OmniTek XR was designed specifically for colorists, post-production editors, and digital intermediates working with very high resolution HDTV and Dual-Link images.
In 2003, OmniTek produced the world’s first native Dual-Link waveform monitor, and the XR raises the performance of this system to a new standard. The rich feature set and highly configurable display enables the user to customise the output according to their exact requirements.
The XR signal processing technology gives “extreme resolution” waveform and vectorscope displays. The system has a flat frequency response of 10-bit accuracy to 30 MHz, and uses 256 times oversampling to ensure the most accurate monitoring. Novel new waveform generation algorithms give user-adjustable, high-quality, pin-sharp displays. Full 1024-pixel-high waveforms show the true 10-bit resolution of input SDI signals. Arbitrary combinations of components may be displayed simultaneously, such as YRGB and vectorscope, or YCbCr and Composite.
