Post production, HDTV broadcast, archive, digital dailies, video on demand (VOD), IPTV, high definition DVD and many other professional applications have embraced the visual quality offered by HD acquisition, production and distribution. With StreamZHD you have a versatile tool that can capture, encode, transcode, and deliver your content in multiple formats ranging from uncompressed HD video to high-quality streaming media, all from a single, intuitive interface.

StreamZHD encoders are format-agile. Powered by the Digital Rapids DRC-5500 hardware, StreamZHD systems can capture HD or SD video in its native format, or format convert it on-the-fly from HD to SD, SD to HD, or between HD resolutions and frame rates. StreamZHD supports 10-bit and 8-bit uncompressed video and hardware-based JPEG2000 compression, plus a broad range of encoding formats including Windows Media 9, SMPTE VC-1, MPEG-4, AVC (H.264), MPEG-2, QuickTime and more. StreamZHD’s hardware-based video pre-processing – including motion-adaptive de-interlacing, noise reduction, proc amp controls and filtering – ensure industry-leading output quality and enable the most efficient use of bandwidth in the compressed result.
