Key features of the Aston 7 system

  • Graphics are created, editied and previewed on Windows PCs without the need for dedicated hardware
  • A choice of tower or rack PC hardware, fitted with industry standard SD or HD PCI graphics adaptors, for A7 graphics video output
  • The centralised A7 Resource Folder makes it easy for the user to access graphics images, video & audio clips, and 3D models created by other 3rd party PC packages
  • Graphics are manipulated within the Edit Window in 3D space so that they gain depth and well as horizontal and vertical positioning. Simple mouse movements allow the user to position and rotate objects to achieve the desired effect
  • The powerful animation wizard makes it easy to manage the way in which individual, or grouped, graphics objects appear, disappear and transition within a 'scene'
  • Text and graphics surfaces may be configured to use any of the  pre-defined colour, lighting and texture combinations available in the A7 materials pallete.
  • Optional video input PC cards enable live video signals to be included in a graphics page or even applied to the surface of a 2D or 3D object
  • Live text updates and graphics animations can be linked through the Aston Datapool API to external content sources so that the management of on-air graphics can be 100% automated.
